Yabadabadoooooooo out it goes! The Tribalistic Triathlon Kit is out to print! It is now into the hands of Will and his crew at Champion System and we have always been happy with the results.

It is the third year that i am designing their kits and trust me, it does not get any easier.

I have to find the hidden book on how to design spandex sport clothing. I am sure there is some sort of sport clothing design bible somewhere.

 

 

Ladies' Night

OK. This is not your typical Ladies Night. You will not see stilettos, ruffles, sparkles, makeup or coiffed hair. You may see some pink, but we are sweating out and busting our hinnies. Tonight Tribalistic Triathlon Club will be hosting the 4th Ladies Night brick workout at the Pan Am Pool.  Ladies Night is offered on the first Thursday of every month and is led by coach...me! These are so much fun and the atmosphere is so different. Especially when some of the girls bring goodies. We make the boys so jealous! Ah, but what is said in the training room, stays in the training room...

Ladies, wait till you see this workout! Better than last week!

small fish in a big lake

This past Saturday morning, Pat the Pickerel and Jacque the Jack began their journey to swim from Victoria Beach pier till they reached landfall at Gimli Harbour, a distance of 31 km. The two fish left before sunrise at 545 AM and arrived at Gimli just after 400 PM.  They had expected it might take them closer to 15 hours to cross the big lake. But, with sunny skies and a slight tailwind they were able to keep a three-kilometre-an-hour pace and arrived with a time of just over 10 hours (10 hours and 17 minutes).

Congratulations boys!

Little do they know that Cherrie and I are planning our own feat, but Cherrie does not know that either...
