I MADE jam! Rhubarb and Rhubarb-Raspberry jam! and, it's not too difficult to boot. Kinda like my home made Ice Cream. Some simple ingredients combined with a few simple steps all results in yummy goodness.
1) I collected the fruits from our garden
2) Mosh them up or chop them up
3) Add water and sugar/pectin mixture, OR my secret ingredient from Belgium, Candico Minut.
4) Made myself a drink... Orange juice and Pisang Ambon for the rhubarb batch and Chimay for the raspberry/rhubarb batch. (more help from Belgium!)
5) Sterilize jars and lids
6) Boil "jam"
7) Add hot jam to sterilized jars and place lids
8) Patiently wait for the proper seal sound Tac!
9) Now i get to lick the jam in the pan....or warm jam on warm biscuit...
